01. Leveling
Ensure the 3D Compass sits on a flat surface. The Azimuth plate must be perfectly horizontal.
02. Calibration
Use the center form to calculate the specific angles for your target star and current location.
03. Azimuth Alignment
Rotate the base until the magnetic needle matches the calculated Azimuth on the scale.
04. Zenith Setting
Slide the pointer on the vertical arc to the Zenith angle. Sight along the arrow to find the star.
