Life Cycle of Sun

Protostars

Stars form from interstellar dust that collapse under grvitational disturbances.

Collapsing Protostars

As the temprature and preasure rise at the center of the collapsing cloud, material near the center flattens into a disc and nuclear reaction begins.

Unsuccessful Star

Smaller Protostars do not achieve nuclear reactions and these failed stars are known as Browndwarfs.

Successful Star

As nuclear reactions get under way the star exhibits rapid rotation and strong winds and the poles ejects jets of materials.

Stablizing Star

In Stars with a mass of more than 0.08 Solar Masses, the disc begins to cool.

Main Sequence Star

Star spends 90% of theirs lives in the main sequence phase

Low Mass Star

0.1 Solar Mass.

Sun like Star

1 Solar Mass.

High Mass Star

8 Solar Mass.
Collapsing Star.
Evolves into Red Giant.
Evolves into Super Giant.
Dim Collapsing Star.
Outer layer starts to form Planetary Nebula.
Explodes as a Super Nova.
Black dwarf.
Collapses to become white dwarf.
Smaller remnents become neutron stars.
Larger remnents becomes black holes.
